Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. Because he trusts in You.”

When I was searching for peace in the Bible  I ran across so many beautiful scriptures. The Lord has a lot to say about peace. He wants us to pursue peace (Rom 14:19) He wants us to live in peace (John 14:27) He wants us to be at peace with others (Rom 12:18, Heb 12:14). Being peaceful is a state of being calm, tranquil. We make better decisions when we are calm, we are kinder when we are tranquil, and we are healthier when we are at peace. No wonder God speaks about peace so much. He wants nothing but the best for us and knows that peace will help us receive the goodness this life has in store. Trusting in Him will bring you peace.

I pray that today you find the peace of God. That His peace which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds. That you casts your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. I pray that His love and calmness floods your spirit and you are able to spread peace everywhere you go. Amen.

Day 24 in the #iAmchallenge2017 – During the month of May I will post a daily affirmation, corresponding scripture, and short encouragement. Read the affirmation out loud several times today.
