I am hilarious! Well at least I think so…and that’s the opinion that matters right?.. RIGHT! Now I don’t think I’m the next Kevin Hart or Jim Carry but I’m high on the list of funny. I think what makes me so funny is my ability to laugh at myself. Seriously, I can crack myself up. Most days my laughter is kept inside, but at least once a week I catch myself laughing out loud to a joke only I know about. I have been gifted with the ability to laugh at myself and I take full advantage of it. Some of my jokes are aimed at other people, such as my amazing children who most of the time-to be honest- are walking jokes. Some jokes are aimed at other people like the guy walking in front of my store who didn’t see me watching him as he tripped through the parking lot. But mostly I entertain myself by listening to my own crazy thoughts and allowing my mind to wander. It’s a freedom, a privilege not many take advantage of.
“Never be afraid to laugh at yourself, after all you could be missing out on the joke of the century” -Dame Edna Everage

Do you laugh at yourself? Do you have fun with yourself?

I have come to realize that I am the one person I can never escape from. So I have to enjoy my own company. I believe it is vital to enjoy my own company over anyone else’s. I may not make you laugh, but in my world I’m the funniest person I know.
