“A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life” – Coco Chanel

Change is good right?…Right. It is. Change is a beautiful thing. Change measures growth. Change is good, yet we can fight it so much. We think we want it, but battle mentally with it. We tell everyone who will listen about the change we “want”. Yet we internally argue against it, we self sabotage the very change we claim we are seeking. I now know change comes from a combination of 3 things; pressure, belief, and tiredness!
The pressure from life, from society, and more importantly from the self imposed standards that you have that you are not reaching. The belief that you can actually accomplish the change. Real belief, real hardcore faith that you can freaking do it. And tiredness, which is something that I think takes the longest. Being tired of doing the same thing getting and no different results. Tired of starting over. Tired of making excuses. Tired of yourself.
This weekend I decided to celebrate the change that is taking place in my life by cutting my hair. I am finally growing, changing into the woman I was created to be. The change is good. My haircut symbolizes my freedom, my boldness, my voice and my beauty. Change is good.
When change finally knocks at your door embrace it and celebrate it with a symbol. Wave that symbol proudly. Let the world know change has happened, but more importantly let yourself know that you are no longer the same and will not go back!

Change is good.
